KNITTING PATTERN -- Binx Sweater - P174
Due to requests from knitters to have my ‘Lillesand Cardigan’ made available in sweater…. here it is.
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down, increasing throughout the yoke. The sleeve
stitches are placed on hold, they will be picked up and completed after the body of the sweater has been
worked. Sweater has a simple colour work bands around the yoke, sleeve cuffs and at the bottom.
This sweater would be great for every day wear, simple and stylish, sure to become your fav.

SKILL LEVEL - Intermediate
No seaming required. Pattern has been test knitted and technical edited. I would class this pattern suitable for the for the INTERMEDIATE knitter, however, also for the ADVANCED beginner who is comfortable working with circular needles, and very simple stranding / fair isle knitting.

4 mm (U.S. 6 : UK 8) circular needle -- 41cm [16 in].
4 mm (U.S. 6 : UK 8) circular needle -- 74 cm [29 in].
4 mm (U.S. 6 : UK 8) DPN’s.
4.5 mm (U.S. 7 : UK 9) circular needle -- 74 cm [29 in] OR extra long straight needles for yoke.
OTHER MATERIALS
Stitch markers and Stitch holders, or scrap yarn.
Tapestry needle.
TENSION
20 sts and 28 rows/rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) in stocking stitch on 4 mm (U.S. 6 : UK 8) needles after blocking.
When knitting colorwork some knitters may find that they need to go up one needle size to maintain gauge. You may want to swatch both colorwork and stocking stitch to decide if this is needed.
